Do I have to use an attendance tracker app? Why can’t I just use a pen and paper, a register or a computer to do the same?
While you may occasionally come across sports club owners who still maintain member attendance in a register or on a computer, times have evolved a lot since the days of ‘pen-and-paper’.
Using an attendance tracker app like Coacha lets you automatically track attendance as your members will be using the attendance tracker app to automatically sign themselves in and out. During any given week or month, you can quickly pull up an attendance record by accessing the attendance tracker app’s digital registers, which instantly give you a holistic view of your members’ attendance statistics on a weekly, monthly or quarterly basis, for example. And the best part is you can use this facility on the fly as the Coacha attendance tracker app can be used with just about any mobile, handheld and desktop device.
Furthermore, the way we have designed Coacha, it’s much more than just an attendance tracker app – it’s a complete administrative system that allows you to manage your sports club with ease. If you want to get a better idea of how an “attendance tracker app” can help make managing and administering your sports club easier, try out Coacha for FREE for the first 14 days.
-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Can an attendance tracker app help me resolve attendance issues?
Well, not directly, as there may be any number of issues due to which your member attendance levels could be sinking – but our attendance tracker app can certainly help you spot trends which are responsible for low attendance levels.
For example, some of your members may not be comfortable taking classes around specific times of the day or on specific days of the week. Others may be put off by the fact that a certain coach was not available to train them at a time and venue of their choosing.
The Coacha attendance tracker app offers so many class and venue booking features that it can help minimise attendance issues to a great degree. Once your members know that they can book onto classes given by a specific instructor, for example, their chances of dropping out or cancelling classes go down dramatically.
Convenience is at the heart of our attendance tracker app and giving members the ability to book onto classes themselves at a time and place that suits them – is almost a guaranteed way to minimise dropouts or attendance issues.
-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Can an attendance tracker app help me grow my business?
Again, it can, but indirectly or passively. An attendance tracker app like Coacha comes with some pretty nifty features, offering statistics and holistic views of how well your classes are performing. This information can be used to further hone your sales and marketing strategy.

What are Custom Reports in my registration app?

Is there a way to add events to a calendar in the attendance app for Android?
Just like any other sports club, you may also have many non-bookable events scheduled throughout the year – such as charity events, major competitions, social get togethers and so on. Your attendance app for Android lets you record these events so that your members, coaches and staffers can see them in the Event Calendar.
Navigate to ‘More Features’ from the main navigation menu and look for ‘Event Calendar’. Find the ‘Create New Event’ panel and follow the on-screen instructions to record an upcoming event. Click ‘Create’ and that’s it. Pretty neat feature for an “attendance app for Android”, wouldn’t you say?
-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
I don’t know how to send text messages from my attendance app for Android – can you help me with that?
It would be our pleasure!
Just log into your attendance app for Android and head to ‘Broadcasts’ in the main nav-bar and then ‘SMS Integration’. Here, you will be asked to create a Textlocal account, if you don’t already have one, that is. If you already have one, simply click on ‘Link to my Textlocal account’.
Once you have logged into Textlocal, access your Settings and then go into ‘API keys’. If you don’t have one, then click on ‘Create New Key’ and after that ‘Save New Key’. There’s no need to fill out the IP Addresses or Notes fields.
Copy the key to your clipboard and then head back to your attendance app for Android, where you will need to paste the key in the appropriate field. Click ‘Continue’. You will get a confirmation message that you’re good to go. Just make sure you have text credits in your Textlocal account, and you’re golden.
-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
How much does it cost to send text messages from my attendance app for Android?
It costs practically nothing! Your attendance app for iPhone and Android does not charge you anything extra for sending text messages through Textlocal – so, it’s typically between 4.5p and 5.5p depending on how long the message is.
-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Is there a limit to the number of emails and/or text messages I can send through my attendance app for iPhone and Android? Is there a charge for emails too?
You can send as many text/email broadcasts as you like through your attendance app for iPhone and Android – emails are completely free, unlike text messages.
Just keep in mind that you need to have your Textlocal credits refreshed before sending out bulk text messages to multiple clients from your attendance app for iPhone and Android – you certainly don’t want to have anyone coming back to you and complaining they didn’t get the latest message, while many others did.
-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Can you tell me how 1-2-1 bookings and timeslots work in my attendance app for iPhone and Android?
Class bookings is perhaps one of the best features of your attendance app for iPhone and Android – allowing your coaches to easily book in members, while also allowing the latter to book onto classes themselves, should they choose.
The Coacha attendance app for iPhone and Android allows your members to book classes with their favourite coach in just a few clicks or taps.
The first thing they need to do is log into their attendance management app through this
link and then click on “Book a session with a coach” from the main menu. This will give them the option to book a session with a coach they wish to choose and subsequently select a timeslot.
Finally, your clients will be asked to confirm their booking in the attendance management app, and that’s it. Do bear in mind that as the administrator/business owner, you first need to make classes “bookable” and then either ask your coaches to create specific timeslots during which your clients can book classes, or assign the timeslots yourself.
To make classes bookable in your attendance management app, find ‘Classes & Registers’ under the main navigation bar and then choose ‘New class/event’. Here, you will need to tick a checkbox that says ‘People can book onto this class’.
As for setting up and managing timeslots, simply click on one of your coach’s profile by pulling up the ‘People’ menu from your attendance management app and then clicking on ‘Timeslot Booking Settings’. Simply ‘Enable timeslot booking for this coach’ and then you can also set an option which will allow that coach to manage the timeslots on their own. You can also set the kind of timeslots available to coaches or what they can make available to clients in the attendance management app – e.g. 1-2-1s, multiple 1-2-1s or group timeslot.
If you want clients to pay for each booking they make via the attendance management app, then choose the payment method, and we’re all done.
-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Can you tell me how to use the Timeslot Manager in my attendance management app?
Once you have enabled timeslots for all your coaches, they will be able to access it after logging into the attendance management app and a new section under the main dashboard will appear: 1-2-1 Bookings.
Once they click this, they will see all the bookable timeslots you have made available to them. If you’ve enabled the option to let each coach set their own timeslots from the attendance management app, then they can easily create them by selecting ‘Create a New Timeslot’ and filling out the relevant details.
There’s a timeslot calendar as well which allows your coaches to see the timeslots available and how many of them have been booked into. In case they need to cancel a booked class due to whatever reason, they can do that from the Timeslot Manager in their attendance management app.
-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Is there a way to assign different roles to each coach from my club attendance app?
Yes, there is – simply head to People from the main interface, then ‘Your Members’ and then ‘Coaches & Admins’. For an existing coach, click on ‘View profile’ and to add a new coach, click on ‘Add new staff’.
Now, you can select the permission level from the dropdown in that coach’s profile, and you can withdraw their privileges from logging into the club attendance app as well by deleting their profile.
The Coacha club attendance app offers three levels of coach access:
Administrator – This gives your coaches full control, where they can export and download member data, and view club stats, but naturally, not at the same level of control as you, the administrator/owner. Coaches have complete control over class bookings and timeslots.
Coach Full – This option in the club attendance app gives your coaches access to all members, classes and attendance registers, although they cannot access financials or any other club stats. They can certainly view attendance stats for individual member profiles and the classes and attendance registers you have assigned them.
Coach Limited – The last option in the club attendance app lets your coaches access only the members, classes and registers they have been assigned. They will not have access to financials or other club stats, although as with the above, they can still view attendance stats for individual member profiles and the classes and attendance registers they’ve been assigned.
After selecting the desired level of access in your club attendance app, fill out the relevant fields and click ‘Add’.
-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
How do I assign a login to one of my coaches to let them use the club attendance app?
It’s so easy to assign a login to your coach for using the sports schedule app;
Under ‘Your Members’ from the main navigation, you’ll find ‘People’. Once there, choose ‘Coaches & Admins’. Simply locate the existing profile for the coach for which you need to give access to the sports schedule app or add a new coach and then select ‘View Profile’.
There’s a dropdown here which lets you choose the permission level, as described above (Administrator, Coach Full, Coach Limited), which can be changed at any time, and should you choose to bar your coaches’ access to the sports schedule app, you can do so by deleting their profile.
If your coach does not have a login for their sports schedule app account, you can assign their password here and let them know, which they can use to log in and change to whatever they wish.
After filling out the email and password field, click ‘Add’.
However, if your coach already has a sports schedule app account, the system will acknowledge this and continue using the password which was assigned to them for logins, or the one they later changed themselves.
In some cases, your coach may request you to change the password to their sports schedule app account, in which case you can always click on ‘Generate new password’ which will send the new login credentials to your coach’s email address.
-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
How do I add a new class in my sports schedule app?
Setting up a new class in your attendance tracking app (free to use initially) couldn’t be easier:
Find ‘Classes & Registers’ from the main navigation and select ‘New Class or Event’. Fill out all the relevant details, including a date and start/finish time. You can also set your newly added class on a recurring basis, saving yourself the hassle of adding the class over and over again in your attendance tracking app (free to try for 14 days).
You must also assign a coach who will be taking the class and the venue. You can select a class venue in your attendance tracking app (free to download) by clicking on the dropdown or create one by going into ‘Add a New Venue’.
You can either add an existing coach to the new class by ticking the appropriate coach’s name or you can assign a new coach in your attendance tracking app (free trial included) by going into ‘People’ from the main nav-bar, then ‘Your Members’ and ‘Add New Staff’.
Want your members to be able to book onto classes themselves rather than you logging into your attendance tracking app (free for downloading) just to do it? Simply select ‘People can book onto this class’ and you’re golden! Do remember to choose the maximum number of people the class can accommodate.
Finally, click on ‘Add your members’ which can be found at the bottom of your attendance tracking app’s (free for two weeks) screen. You can either search for members individually and click on ‘Add’ or add entire member groups by using the search feature and then selecting ‘Add all’.
You’ve successfully added all the members to your new class! The final step in your attendance tracking app (free trial included) is to click on ‘Create’ and you’re all set.

Why are Stripe and GoCardless the most common methods for payment processing in my attendance app for iOS? Does it support other methods?
Stripe and GoCardless (GC) are two of the most reliable online payment merchants, not just in the UK but also in other regions where your attendance app for iOS is supported, such as the US, EU, AUS, and CAN.
We’ve specifically handpicked these two payment merchants as they excel not only in terms of security and reliability, but also charge some of the most competitive rates in the industry for online transactions done through your attendance app for iOS.
