What kind of features do apps for coaching generally offer?
If your coaches have never used a piece of software to administer a club, they are in for a very pleasant surprise when they get to try apps for coaching for the first time!
Apps for coaching like Coacha, for example, offer features such as 1-2-1 and group booking, even allowing members to book onto classes themselves. So, that’s one headache done away with for your coaches!
Apps for coaching also help you spot trends in, say, class attendance or popularity, so you can clearly see which classes are doing better than others or where you’re getting the most attendance – or even how many bookings and registrations you had during a specific period.
It’s insightful features like these in apps for coaching which help you spot specific trends, and then adjust your business strategy accordingly for further growth.

There’s so many things a club communication app can help you achieve at once, it’s kind of ridiculous! Go ahead and try the Coacha club communication app absolutely FREE for 14 days to see what we mean.

What is the number one reason I should be using a club communication app?
Times have changed a lot since the days of ‘pen and register’ or keeping a record of “things” on a computer. Sports clubs today are doing everything possible to remain competitive, cut back losses and improve profitability – just like any other business – and this is where a coaching app for coaches comes in to make matters a lot easier.
So, fair to say, the number one reason you should be using a coaching app for coaches is to simplify “communication”, and Coacha does that brilliantly.
-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Can a coaching app for coaches be used to train coaches?
Well, that’s a fair question but coaching apps for coaches are not generally built to train coaches in any meaningful way.
However, coaching apps for coaches like Coacha can certainly help your coaches improve communication, among other things. So, it’s not really meant as a training tool, per se, but it can definitely help your coaches become more effective communicators, by taking advantage of the ultra-useful features that coaching apps for coaches such as Coacha offer.
-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Can a coaching communication app be used as a marketing tool?
While the Coacha coaching communication app isn’t exactly built to be used as a marketing tool, you can indirectly use it for marketing purposes:
When potential members see how easy it is to register and hop on board through our innovative coaching communication app, they will pass on the word and invite others to do the same. When you simplify sign-ups and member communication this way, a sports communication app can indirectly be used as a marketing tool and help you grow your business.

Can you tell me how class booking features work in a sports communication app?
The 1-2-1 and private class booking feature in Coacha allows your members to conveniently book classes and venues from the comfort of their home or wherever they may be, simply by logging onto their sports communication app.
However, the feature must be first enabled in your sports team communication app in order to work properly. Once you do this, you can control everything from the level of access your coaches have in terms of bookable classes and other areas within the sports team communication app, to how members pay for the classes they book onto.
When you access ‘People’ from your sports team communication app’s main navigation, you’ll be able to pull up each coach’s individual profile. Here, you’ll find ‘Timeslot Booking Settings’. Once you enable the Timeslot Manager for that coach, you can toggle the booking system on for that respective coach, as well as the ability for them to manage timeslots on their own. If you require any further guidance on how to set up timeslots and class booking for your coaches in your youth sports management software, you can refer to this guide.
-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
How do my members book onto classes through their youth sports software?
Oh, this couldn’t be simpler! The first thing they need to do is log into their youth sports software by heading to https://my.coacha.app.
Under the main Dashboard, they’ll find “Book a session with a coach”. All they need to do now is choose their coach, a timeslot, the mode of payment, confirm everything and that’s it.
-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
How to I make classes bookable in my youth sports software?
There are two things you need to do to be able to effectively use the rather brilliant class booking feature in your youth sports software:
Make the feature bookable and give members access to the Member Portal.
To make classes bookable in your youth sports software, find ‘Classes & Registers’ from the main navigation bar and then ‘New Class/Event’. After filling out the appropriate class info, select ‘People can book onto this class’. Next, click on ‘Add members’ to make class booking available to your coaches but if you want members to book onto classes themselves through their digital coach app, leave this specific section blank, and instead, click on ‘Create’.
You can check in your digital register for this class whenever a member books a timeslot by heading to ‘Classes & Registers’ and then ‘Attendance Register’.
As for the Member Portal logins, you can either do it individually, in case you want to give access to each member one by one, or you can mass-assign it to everyone at once, or even select groups.
Assign individually – Head to ‘People’ and then ‘Your Members’ and finally ‘View Profile’, for the member you want to give access to. Under their main profile information, you will see a tickbox: ‘Allow login’. Set up a password for them and click ‘Save’.
Now, simply let your member know through an SMS text or email (or both) broadcast that their Member Portal credentials are ready.
Assign all at once – Assigning everyone their logins at once in your digital coach app couldn’t be easier. Just go to ‘Your Members’ again and click on ‘Set member logins’, then look for the ‘Send to Everyone’ checkbox which will automatically be ticked by default.
Mass-assign to select groups – You can also mass-assign logins to a specific class/group from your digital coach app. Deselect or uncheck the ‘Send to Everyone’ option and choose the relevant class/group from the dropdown. Click on ‘Add’ and then ‘Send Login Request’.
We’re done!

Is there a basic Member Portal guide I can refer my members to, should they experience any complications?
Once your members are logged into the portal using the credentials you assigned them through the digital coach app, they’ll be greeted by an intuitive dashboard which clearly sets everything out. They can do everything from viewing and editing their personal information as well as medical notes, to making or cancelling payments, downloading their data under GDPR, viewing club schedules, and more.
Should they require further guidance on how to use the Member Portal effectively in their digital coach app, this article offers a tonne of useful information.

How does venue booking work in your coaching software (free to try initially)?
The venue booking feature in your coaching software (free to download) is accessible from the Club Settings page.
From the Club Settings tab, you need to enable ‘Venue Bookings’; that is, if you’re offering any bookable venues to your members.
Once you enable this in your coaching software (free to try at first), you need to define what it is you want made bookable – e.g. specific equipment, rooms or the entire venue. Next, give your venue unique names, choose the mode of payment to take from your members and click ‘Save’.
If you’d like to know more about how the various sub-features work within Venue Booking, here’s an expansive guide.

How does Coacha compare to other ‘free’ sports team communication apps?
First of all, not all sports apps advertised as ‘free’ sports team communication apps are actually “free”. They always find a way to sneak in charges, even to try out the allegedly “free” trial.
As for Coacha, it may be classified among ‘free’ sports team communication apps, but only because it’s free for the first 14 days. And the great thing is, it lets you try it out absolutely free during that time, while offering the same great premium features as any other sports team communication app for ‘free’.
We would, however, advise you to always err on the side of caution whenever you see the words “sports team communication app free” flashing on your screen! Most of them will ask for credit card information up front because they are eager to charge you and even go as far as to say that the sports team communication app is free to try and even use, but believe us, it isn’t!

Can you show me how members can book venues using their youth sports coaching apps?
It’s really easy for your members to book venue items or entire venues (depending on what you’ve made available) from their youth sports coaching apps:
After logging into their youth sports coaching apps, your members need to find ‘Book a court’ under the main Dashboard – please note that this term may be ‘Book a table’, ‘Book a pool lane’ or anything that you’ve made “bookable” from your venue booking settings.
Next, they need to pick a timeslot, which is represented as greens squares in their youth sports coaching apps. After choosing the timeslot, they need to add any other members or guests who will be attending the venue, choose their payment method and then hit ‘Pay & Book’.
The newly booked venue will now be displayed in the “Your Court Bookings” Panel in their youth sports coaching apps.

What are currently some of the best apps for sports team communication?
There are quite a few “best apps for sports team communication”, according to user reviews and personal opinions online, such as Bonzi, TeamSnap or Team Sideline, although they don’t quite beat Coacha when it comes to the best apps for sports team communication – we’re offering a highly competitive price for the same premium features which they simply can’t touch!
Our users, however, personally believe that Coacha is the best app for sports team communication because it helps you get many things done at once, leaving you lot more time and energy to oversee other aspects of the business.
In addition to superb class booking and venue booking features, Coacha is also the best app for sports team communication as it lets you add as many members as you like at no additional cost. In fact, there are no hidden costs whatsoever associated with Coacha either now or down the line, unlike the other providers who believe their product to be the “best app for sports team communication”.
