You can also give full control to your coaches to make certain timeslots available during which members can book classes, events or venues by logging into their cheerleading app.

There’s a timeslot manager attached to each coach’s profile. So, go into ‘People’ from your cheerleading app’s main menu, then ‘Your Members’ and then locate the desired coach’s profile. Go to ‘Timeslot booking settings’ and enable timeslot booking for that coach. Now, your coach can offer timeslots for 1-2-1s, multiple 1-2-1s and private group bookings.

If you would like your member to pay when booking a session through the cheerleading app, you can also toggle that on.

How can members book classes directly after logging into their cheerleading app?

First, they need to head to https://my.coacha.app, and then use the email address and password they used to sign up, to log into the cheerleading app for class booking.

Once in, they need to find “Book a session with a coach” from the main Dashboard. Finally, they need to choose a coach, pick a timeslot, choose a way to pay (if they’re required to pay for session bookings through the cheerleading team app) and that’s it!

They will be able to see the “Your Bookings” section on the right hand section of their cheerleading team app – from here, they can also cancel any bookings if they wish.

How secure is my personal data in cheer apps?

To our knowledge, most cheer apps try to do everything possible to protect their users’ private and sensitive data. However, we can’t speak for those cheer apps as we do not know what kind of security measures they’ve put in place. As for Coacha, it is one of those cheer apps which is designed around the NSPCC’s latest guidelines around child safety online, so when it comes to protecting children and their data security, we are second to none. We also store and use member data according to the latest GDPR laws.

Can you tell me how many cheerleading injuries happen per year as a result of not using cheer apps?

Interesting question!

Although there aren’t that many statistics available on how many cheerleading injuries happen per year in the UK, this study reported 793 injuries in 1,109,489 cheerleading exposures in the US. Cheerleading has also been ranked 19th when it comes to competition injury rates in this particular survey. Whilst cheer apps won’t prevent injuries from happening, any injuries sustained by your athletes can be recorded in Coacha.

However, cheerleading organisations using cheer apps can definitely benefit by minimising the aftermath of those injuries.
